Very clean, convenient, cool, and comfortable. (And I consider myself hard to please at times.) Gail at the front desk was very nice and made sure we were happy with our stay. The price was great also. We plan to go back.

The only thing is I wish every room had a latch at the top. I have young kids and they can easily open the door and that would add a extra layer of comfort for safety

Quiet hotel, and very polite front desk employees. Only downside is, instead of having pool towels available in the indoor pool area you have to go all the way down, and around to the front desk for them… (the indoor pool is all the way in the back of the hotel). Also I’ve never been to a hotel where you have to pay for ice … 50 cents for a small container of ice isn’t ideal, wasn’t a big deal though.

Gail was the lady at the front desk, when we checked it. She was super helpful and really nice.. our room was clean, bed was soft, we didn’t try the breakfast.. we really enjoyed our stay.. will definitely be booking with these people again.

My husband and I had a really nice stay at the Vaction Lodge. Its CLEAN and the folks there are super nice. Ms. Gale at the front desk was so nice, informative, and down home! There were a few nicks on the walls, a couple of our towels werent the cleanest, and the jacuzzi tub stopper didnt fit properly. However, the beds were super comfy, you can tell that it was cleaned when you get there, and there were kids on both sides of us but we heard nothing! The breakfast was ok. Gravy and biscuits were really good. Just your basic choices besides the biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs. The location was a bit further down than I was looking for but that's my fault NOT theirs. However, you can see the dollywood firework and drone show from there!!! It was nice to have that view. All in all, it was nice. And we will definitely go again!

The room was spotless and smelled clean. Nicely updated with new flooring, shower surround and new furniture. The bathroom was a little small. Very comfortable mattress! The property was very clean and had 2 pools which was nice as the kids seemed to migrate to the outside pool and adult only travelers seemed to go to the indoor one. Staff was very friendly and kind. The lady that checked me in kept me right next to the office since I was a single female traveler. I would highly recommend this property.

The lodge was nice but it definitely could use some updates. Especially in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay, the only complaint we had was how small the bathroom was, when you sit in the toilet you are touching the toilet paper with your bum.
